How to Enroll

Enrollments via HRConnect

You can make your 2024 Benefit Enrollment elections for medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, Basic group life beneficiary designations, basic long-term disability taxability from any computer that has access to the Internet, by logging on to http://segalco.okta.com/

From OKTA, select the HRConnect icon, then Me, then Benefits, and then you may:

  • Make changes
  • People to cover (view and/or create contacts for beneficiaries, dependents, emergency contacts).  If you're adding new contacts, the effective start date should be the date you're making the change, not the date you want the coverage to begin for the new contact.
  • Continue (view current and make future elections). Select the applicable coverage (for example, Medical/Dental, Vision, etc.) and select Edit to make changes.  To attach applicable dependents to your medical, dental, and/or vision plans, after selecting Edit, select the pencil to check off who you want to cover. For Basic Group Life, after selecting Edit, select the pencil to designate your beneficiaries.
  • Submit-you must hit the SUBMIT button or your elections will not go into effect.
  • Print-print a confirmation statement which will show your coverage elections and costs. 

Basic life and disability coverage, and the flex credit you receive toward the purchase of supplemental life insurance, show in HRConnect.

You can complete open enrollment changes in HRConnect as many times as you want during the annual enrollment period.  Once the period is over, you will not be able to make any new elections for January 1.

Enrollments via The Hartford

You now enroll for supplemental LTD coverage as well as supplemental life and/or AD&D coverage, directly with the Hartford, at www.thehartford.com/benefits/enroll. Prior supplemental long-term disability elections that previously showed in HRConnect have been transferred to The Hartford.

If you currently have any supplemental insurance coverage, please register at The Hartford to confirm your coverage, demographic, dependent and beneficiary information, as applicable, is correct or add any missing information needed, or to enroll or make changes or discontinue current coverage. Your user ID is your employee ID and your initial password is your initials followed by your date of birth in MMDDYYYY format. You may receive emails directly from The Hartford at EmployeeBenefits@MarketWORKS.TheHartford.com and enroll@email.thehartfordatwork.com.
